I'm candlelit in the caravan ,
It's raining heavy knocks on the door,
The rats have chewed gaps ,
in my shoes and my scraps,
and left footprints all over the walls.
'I came to this lonely place to find
The voice of my heart', she wept in rhyme-
The undergrowth hides
The secrets of tribes, a sequence of lives
I'm speaking my lines ,
I'm seeking to strive
An' I'm creaking my bones never felt together til I was alone.
The secrets of stones the hours I roam,
no streetlights to greet night I speak like unknown.
Under dark pine I find a glow of white,
Pushing their rubber petals ,
paper candlelight among the nettles
Dust settles on my diary,
I cry into my tea...
The ghosts tap on my window, warily.
Indigo haunts the sky
A saucer of night
Til wet paint taints the new day,
it won't go away.it won't go away.....
I came to this lonely place to find,
the secrets of stars the thoughts of time
The waking of walls , of wars, of wine,
Of doors in the dark , of yours of mine-
I came to this lonely place to find,
The song of the silence left behind-
The birth of a bird, its' breath, its' bind
give me a reason , not to rhyme.....
I talk with jokers and jesters
Fools and fakers, takers and testers
And still this recipe rests with me
No method could mess with me ,
I wrestle with destiny.
Pick a puzzle with poetry
I pick locks on rooftops, in an old oak tree.
This ruthless remedy
Rust mist, must remember me.
Discuss this dream diary inside of me.
I leave this lonely place behind ,
the chime of the trees the wind in my eyes
I came to this place
Wiped the years from my face cos I ,
found my reason to rhyme.
